Current Surgery Patients

If you are having issues after your surgery, please text or call our office at (706) 946-5015, 24 hours a day:

During Business Hours

  • Team members will triage your condition and schedule same-day emergency appointment, if indicated.

After-Hours

  • By Text/SMS/MMS (preferred): a team member will review your request within an hour and reply via text to your number

  • By Call: answering service operator will collect details and then page Dr. Pritchett, who will call you within one (1) hour.

Current Patients, Scheduled for Surgery

If you have been seen by our clinic but are waiting for your scheduled surgery, please call or text our office at (706) 946-5015, 24 hours a day:

Please note: questions regarding appointments, scheduling, insurance, and accounts are considered routine and will be answered on the next clinic day.

New or Inactive Patients

Many dental emergencies can be handled by your general dentist-- you should contact them first to determine if your condition warrants treatment by an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.

If you feel you have a dental emergency, we will do our best to triage your condition over the phone and determine if there is availability to see you at this time.  DO NOT COME TO THE CLINIC WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT.

If you are not a current patient (seen within the last six (6) months), please contact our office at (706) 946-5015:

During Business Hours

  • Based on availability, Team Members will screen your condition to determine if you can wait until the next available emergency appointment.  Every attempt will be made to clinically triage patients same-day if called by noon.  

  • If appointments are unavailable, you may be directed to seek care from another provider.

After-Hours

  • Consider visiting your primary care, urgent care for immediate assistance, or proceed to the nearest emergency room if you feel the condition cannot wait.

  • Calls are routed to answering service that will collect the information and forwarded to Dr. Pritchett.  Care cannot be rendered after-hours to new or inactive patients (this includes issuing medication prescriptions)
