Vaccine Recovery Protocol

Effective June 21, 2021, protocols for office visits have been relaxed for vaccinated visitors. This information will be updated by July 5, 2021 to reflect these changes.

Social Distancing Protocol

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and flexibility as we have worked to resume care during these challenging times.  As we complete service recovery an enter social distancing phase, please keep in mind:

  1. Social distancing and increased infection control protocols have increased the time between appointments and reduced the total number of patients that can be seen.

  2. The new infection control protocols have been used with all patients treated since March and will continue indefinitely.

Operational Changes
Please rest assured that since March, we remain in compliance with all Standard Precautions and Infection Control protocol required by the CDC and Georgia DPH.

  1. There are special requirements to enter the office. 

  2. Mask wear is mandatory throughout the indoor public areas of the building.

  3. Reading materials, pamphlets, toothbrushes, and pens have been removed.

  4. Self-service beverages, refreshments have been suspended.

  5. Personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements have been increased for all surgical staff.

  6. New room decontamination protocols are in place.  

  7. New environmental controls have been installed in the office to ensure adequate air handling and ambient air sterilization.

  8. Social distancing requirements will remain in effect indefinitely.

Access Requirements

  • You must have an appointment to enter the building.

  • Each patient may have only one (1) escort over the age of 18.  It is preferred this escort wait in their vehicle.

  • If you have a fever, cough or shortness of breath, or are otherwise concerned you have COVID-19, DO NOT COME TO THE CLINIC, instead call the state COVID-19 Hotline: (844) 442-2681.

Visitor Restrictions

  • If you’re sick, have a fever or a confirmed case of COVID-19, do not escort or accompany a patient.

  • Patients may only have up to 1 person with them at any time.

  • Except for patients, accompanying individuals/escorts must be at least 18 years old.

  • All patients and visitors must wash their hands (or use sanitizer) before and after leaving rooms.

Extra Advice
Please continue to follow all information that has been advised by public health officials, namely:
  1. Cover you face when out.  This will prevent spreading any respiratory illness you may have and not know it.  Realize, many that are sick do not realize they are.  You do not need any special mask/covering to be effective.  Suggestions may be found here
